Cricket Gold Coast is excited to launch the Women’s Cricket League!
The WCL is aimed at women aged 14+ who are interested in playing some social cricket with other women in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
The matches will be played between local Gold Coast clubs using a modified ball so players do not need to pay for all the expensive protective gear, and using modified rules so everyone gets a go.
Cricket Gold Coast will fund coaches through the Gold Coast Dolphins Women’s playing squad to come out to clubs and run a 4 week introduction program and assist with 6 training sessions through the season.
Cricket Gold Coast will even arrange to supply team equipment so there is no cost burden on clubs.
All clubs will need to do is share the attached flyer and link to any interested players.
