Gold Coast Junior Cricket – Girls Skill Based Pathway

Skills-based pathway for girls on the Gold Coast, and for any girls interested in playing cricket. With more local clubs introducing girls cricket teams, thought we would share some information.

Few facts:
– Cricket is great for girls as it provides a social environment that helps foster friendships that last a lifetime
– Registered participation among women and girls in cricket clubs up over 50,000 across Australia (2023 numbers)
– Census numbers showed an increase of 11 per cent in children aged five-to-12 taking up cricket last season

Locally we will see the Australia A playing a 4-day game in Robina starting 22/8
